Flooding and typhoons have become commonplace in southeast Asia, and these designers propose that the current forms of inadequate housing be replaced by strong, weather resistance homes of bamboo. This design is for a two-storey urban apartment building using bamboo as an inexpensive, sustainable, strong and easily acquired building material.
