Category 10: Pavilions, Conference Centers, Roof Structures Shimrit Kaufman & team: Israel This pavilion space is designed for Jerusalem and explores differences of transparency and lighting in a bamboo pole structure. Each bamboo stem is to be cut vertically and connected directly to another bamboo stem. This unique ‘bamboo only’ connecting style actually determined the shape of the temporary structure itself.
